Corbin Bleu closes High School Musical On Tour’s first season in Paris

ImageIt came out of nowhere in January 2006, but just last month its sequal scored the title of the most watched basic-cable television broadcast in US history with 17.2 million viewers. To call “High School Musical” a phenomenon wouldn’t even come close. And, for Walt Disney Studios Park, the success has provided a blockbuster summer and an extended run for High School Musical On Tour.

‘Spooktacular’ Halloween for the 25th Anniversary

ImageA new press release has just been published confirming the main events for the 2007 Disney’s Halloween Festival. As expected, it’s a Halloween with a twist - the Pumpkinmen, Pink Witches, Stitch and the Disney Villains all return, but they’re going to be vying for attention against the regular 15th events, apparently continuing as normal. So no Maleficent dancing to “Tous en train!” then, sorry.

Toon Train brings “Lights, Camera, Musique!” to Front Lot

But not Toon Studio, mind. This new Summer event might be more Toon-y than Toon Town itself, but infact it’s Front Lot which receives the extra “lights”, “camera” and “musique” from Chip, Dale and their female friend…

High School Musical On Tour arrives at the Studios

This Summer’s brand new street show premiered this weekend during the Toon Studio press events to fantastic reaction from guests, showcasing a lively mix of basketball, cheerleaders, singing and school romance five times a day.

Candles, characters, decorations… and letters?

More lovely concept art from the AGM, again courtesy of DCP’s Mouetto, this time focusing both on the stage, candles and characters of Candlabration (Bougillumination) and on the banners due to line Main Street using the Christmas fairytale illuminations. High School Musical to bop into the Studios

It’s the Start Of Something New… Our partner site WDSfans.com exclusively confirms that High School Musical is on its way to Walt Disney Studios Park. The inescapable Disney Channel Original Movie phenomenon will arrive in mid-June 2007 as a “travelling” Summer show performed on a movable stage, replacing the Starring Cruella De Vil streetmosphere show which has been presented for the past two Summer seasons.

Merlin l’Enchanteur breaks the spell
