  1. This is one of the original rides from the ‘real’ Disneyland.

My children did enjoy it more than once, but it could do with some 21st century investment in technology and effects. The scenes and lighting are dated, and any adult will know this is made in old materials.

Come on Disney - Keep the ride, but make it sparkle again.

  2. Probably the most disappointing of the dark rides in Fantasyland. This is a noisy and oddly charmless journey through the story of Pinocchio. There are few models but plenty of cardboard giving the ride a cheap feel. However there is a nice special effect with the Blue Fairy at the finale of the ride.

This ride is a little more intense than Peter Pan but not as bad as Snow White. Most kids should handle it fine although Monstro makes a memorable appearence! This ride can attract long lines as it’s fairly slow loading, so try and get on in the first couple of hours of opening, or near closing time.

Les Voyages de Pinocchio

Dark ride following the adventures of Pinocchio.

Follow Pinocchio on his fantastic adventure across wide, open seas and through perilous encounters with shady characters. With the help of the Blue Fairy, however, Pinocchio learns to be himself and believe in himself.
